Daniel is a native of Southern California and has been a homeowner in Palm Springs since 1998. He has more than thirty-five years of experience in the hospitality industry with Kimpton, IHG, Hyatt, Marriott, and Starwood in senior leadership roles. He has been an integral part of thirteen hotel sales teams nationwide including premier hotels in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle, Chicago, Atlanta, and Palm Springs. He was a part of five pre-opening teams for multiple four star hotels, including the Kimpton Rowan Palm Springs. One of the key focus markets in his career has been the Entertainment industry which has allowed him to develop long-lasting relationships within the film, production, and music industries. With a deep love and appreciation of the arts, Daniel’s mission is to work tirelessly to ensure that that the reinvented Plaza Theatre is a home for not only incredible and diverse entertainment from around the world, but also within the Palm Springs and Coachella Valley area. Daniel dedicates his selection to the Plaza Theatre Foundation to his grandfather who was a personal friend of Walt Disney, and Mel Blanc. He was employed by Walt Disney and Bob Clampett Productions voicing Donald Duck’s sons Huey, Dewey, and Louie, as well as Cecil and Beany and worked in radio in the 1950’s. Daniel looks forward to contributing to the Plaza Theatre’s fundraising and events efforts.
