After moving to the desert in 1985, Gino became a full-time resident in 1996 and began his broadcast career in 1997, where he was the face of NBC News in Palm Springs for more than 25 years. Recently retired, he is currently a brand ambassador with the Coachella Valley Firebirds, the desert’s first professional hockey team. Gino hopes to contribute his press and media skills to restore and build the Plaza’s future.
